Free Online CDL Testing
When you are in a CDL training program, your first week is crucial because you will be focusing completely on passing the CDL permit test for your state.
If you do not pass the CDL permit test on your first try, you may have to wait weeks before being able to get another appointment. Most trucking schools make arrangements with the DMV CDL testing centers for a specific day of the week for their students to take the CDL test, and those appointments are made around the time of your enrollmet, perhaps a month prior. In addition, you will not be able to get behind the wheel of a truck until you pass the permit test.
The pressure to learn everything in your state's CDL Handbook in about a week is really much more than you might think, not to mention the pressure of competition among your classmates. Our online CDL test questions and answers are designed to allow you to study at your own pace, while still being comprehensive, and covers not only the General Knowledge section, but also all available endorsements for all 50 states.Perhaps the most important endorsement is the Hazmat endorsement, and we provide 2 Hazmat endorsement tests, currently with 55 questions each, as well as a 2-part video on hazard awareness.
If your goal is to pass the CDL permit test in your state in lieu of going to a CDL training school, you should know that many states require a specific number of hours of training - usuallly around 160 hours - and the requirements are usually 80 hours of classroom training and 80 hours of "behind the wheel" training, highway driving, and observation. However, many people do pass the CDL permit test, then make arrangements to borrow a truck from a trucking company willing to hire them if they pass the CDL road test, depending on the legalities of their state. If you are going for your Class B license, then it is much easier to obtain a CDL job without going through a trucking school. If you want to make more money, however, obtaining your Class A CDL is imperative.
The choice is yours, but we strongly recommend using our online CDL test questions and answers to pass your CDL permit test before, and in combination with, going to a trucking school. This will allow you to not only be more confident before enterring the school and under less pressure, but also to focus some of the more important things, such as the pre-trip inspection, actually driving the truck, filling out job applications, interviewing and researching trucking companies.
